WFCU Opens Application Portal for 2025 ICUDE Designation
Credit Union Development Educators (CUDEs) encouraged to apply by April 11

MADISON, Wis.—Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU), in partnership with World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), is now accepting applications for the 2025 International Credit Union Development Educators (ICUDE) designation. CUDEs looking to expand their global impact are encouraged to apply by Friday, April 11, 2025.

ICUDE Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must complete four key steps in their global credit union journey:
- Earn a CUDE designation from one of seven national or regional DE programs:
- Africa DE, operated by the African Confederation of Co-operative Savings & Credit Associations (ACCOSCA).
- Asia DE, operated by the Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU).
- CanadaDE, operated by the International Centre of Co-op Management (ICCM) at Saint Mary’s University.
- Caribbean DE (CaribDE).
- European DE (DEEU), operated by the Association of British Credit Unions, Ltd. (ABCUL).
- Philippines DE, operated by VICTO National.
- United States DE, operated by the National Credit Union Foundation.
- Complete an independent study project aligned with DE learning objectives and submit a 500-word report.
- Earn a second DE designation outside of their home country.
- Attend a global credit union event, such as the World Credit Union Conference.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by national or regional CUDE program directors before the final selection is made by WFCU. Successful applicants will be recognized as the ICUDE Class of 2025 at the World Credit Union Conference, July 14-16, in Stockholm, Sweden.
