A Focus on Digital Transformation at the 2022 World Credit Union Conference
2022-02-23Two of the three visionaries scheduled to give keynote speeches at the 2022 World Credit Union Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, July 17-20, will focus on topics central to the digitization of credit unions.
Future readiness pioneer Ian Khan is a highly prolific thought leader who has worked with clients in the finance, banking, high tech, manufacturing and credit union industries. He is the creator of the Future Readiness Score, and has been featured on the BBC, CNN, Fox, Bloomberg, Forbes and other mainstream media outlets. The Future Readiness Score is a highly impactful organizational metric used to measure and achieve future readiness. Khan is also a documentary filmmaker and specializes in technology films on key disruptive topics, including Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Future of Work and other emerging areas. He will speak on those topics and more during the morning general session on Monday, July 18.
Keren Elazari is an internationally recognized cybersecurity analyst, author and researcher with more than 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Keren covers emerging security technologies and trends as an independent strategic advisor, working with leading technology providers, government agencies, innovative start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. In 2014, Keren became the first Israeli woman to speak at the prestigious TED Conference. Keren’s talk has been viewed by millions, translated to 30 languages, chosen for TED’s ‘Most Powerful Ideas’ and is one of TED’s most watched talks on the topic of cybersecurity and hacking. Keren will speak during the morning general session on Tuesday, July 19.
Along with those keynote speeches, the 2022 World Credit Union Conference will also feature several breakout sessions focused on areas of digitization that are crucial to credit unions. A full schedule of breakout sessions, featuring details on presenters and topics, will be available closer to the start of WCUC 2022.
Digital Growth Award to be presented during WCUC 2022
Nominations are open for World Council of Credit Unions’ 2022 Digital Growth Award, which will recognize one or more member credit union associations or individual member credit unions for successfully working toward our Challenge 2025 goal of expanding digital transformation across the globe. The Digital Growth Award will be presented during World Council’s Annual General Meeting, scheduled for the afternoon of Monday, July 18 at the 2022 World Credit Union Conference.
Nominees must show they have implemented a digital solution(s) that is:
- Inclusive: It expanded financial inclusion by reaching members of underserved communities.
- Innovative: It was groundbreaking for your organization by reducing costs, streamlining operations or improving member experience.
- Scalable: It can be scaled up for use or replication by other credit union associations or credit unions in your country or region.
