USAID/WOCCU Economic Inclusion Project Launches Consultative Committee on the Financial Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees in Peru
LIMA, Peru—The USAID/World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) Economic Inclusion Project launched a new initiative at its June 27 semiannual meeting in Peru that aims to facilitate better coordination between the public and private sectors in the development of regulatory proposals, mechanisms and strategies that improve access to financial services and boost economic opportunities for Venezuelan migrants and refugees.

10 U.S. Credit Union Peers Participate in Credit Union Immersion Journey Across Peru and Ecuador
MADISON, Wis.—The USAID/World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) Economic Inclusion Program (EIP), in partnership with the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU), this month hosted 10 representatives from the United States credit union system for a two-week study tour to experience firsthand how EIP connects Venezuelan migrants in Ecuador and Peru to financial inclusion through credit unions.

WFCU Facilitates Peer-to-Peer Cooperation to Support Credit Union Digitalization in Ukraine
MADISON, Wis.—Thirty-six laptops and 10 multifunctional printers have been delivered to Ukrainian Credit Unions' Anisiya and PVKS thanks to a partnership Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions' (WFCU) helped them build with two of its Champions—Advantis Credit Union (US) and Dundalk Credit Union (Ireland)—who financed the purchase of the items to boost WFCU’s Digitalization Program.
