Join young professionals from around the globe in the WYCUP program—an annual scholarship and event designed to promote and engage the next generation of credit union leaders in the international credit union movement.


Win a Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to five outstanding nominees who are 35 or younger, have made significant contributions to their credit union system and have the potential to make a global credit union impact.

The 2015 WYCUP scholarship will be awarded at the World Credit Union Conference in Denver, USA, July 12–15, for an all-expense-paid attendance at the 2016 World Credit Union Conference in Ireland.

What does it take to win? Learn from past scholarship winners.

Scholarship deadline is 11:59 p.m. CST on Monday, June 1, 2015.



Participate in Events

The WYCUP program on July 12–15, 2015, provides international networking and educational events for young credit union leaders at the World Credit Union Conference. Conference registrants age 35 and younger qualify for a $100 discount of the registration fee, and can participate in WYCUP events at no extra cost!—regardless of whether or not they apply for the scholarship.

The new WYCUP Alumni Network will offer professional and leadership development opportunities with a global focus. The network officially launches July 14 in Denver, USA, where WYCUPers from over 20 countries will come celebrate WYCUP's first alumni reunion and 15-year anniversary!

WYCUP Program Schedule in Denver, USA


A tight-knit group of young credit union leaders from over 50 countries met last year in Australia to participate in the WYCUP program

Deadline for registration: June 1, 2015

Are you a young credit union professional or volunteer under 35 years of age attending the 2015 World Credit Union Conference in Denver, USA?

Before the conference begins, we invite you to be part of a series of activities, at no extra cost, especially designed for the young crowd!

Share your own experiences with young credit union leaders from all over the world and learn about the phenomenal work they are doing. At the end of the conference, five individuals will be awarded an all-expenses-paid scholarship to attend the 2016 World Credit Union Conference in Ireland.

WYCUP Scholarship Awards
Five WYCUP nominees will receive an all-expense-paid attendance at the 2016 World Credit Union Conference in Ireland.

WYCUP Program for Young Professionals (lunch is provided)
The WYCUP participants regroup on the last day of the conference for an interactive session facilitated by a leadership speaker.

* All conference attendees age 35 and younger interested to participate in the WYCUP events in Denver are required to register for the program via the conference registration system by June 1, 2015. Applications for the WYCUP scholarship are NOT a requirement for attending the WYCUP events.
